Saily eSIM (2026)

Saily is the travel eSIM from the team behind NordVPN: one installed eSIM that can take additional destination plans without installing a new eSIM for every trip, with country, regional and global plans from $2.99.

The pitch is straightforward rather than flashy. Plans are data-only at base, hotspot sharing is unlimited, extra data can be topped up in the app, and support is 24/7 live chat. We priced Saily's plans below from its own pages, checked 30 October 2026 — and we only print a size and validity where Saily's own page actually showed it.

Prices checked 30 October 2026, from Saily's own pages. Always confirm the final price before you buy.

A note on what is not printed above: Saily's own plan picker does not always render the smallest plan's size and validity in plain text. Where that happened — the USA cheapest plan and the Europe cheapest plan — this page prints only the verified "from" price, not a guessed size or validity. Check the final plan details on Saily before you buy.

Saily's Turkey plans in full

Turkey also carries a practical warning from Saily itself: buy, install and activate your eSIM before you arrive, because eSIM websites and apps are restricted inside Turkey.

What else Saily includes

• Instant delivery: a QR code by email for web purchases, instantly in the app for app purchases.
• Automatic activation: plans activate on arrival, provided the eSIM is switched on and data roaming is enabled. All plans have a 180-day activation period.
• Security features: a built-in virtual location, an ad blocker (Saily claims up to 28.6% less data use) and web protection against malicious sites and trackers, from the team behind NordVPN.
• One eSIM, many destinations: one installed eSIM can take additional destination plans without installing a new eSIM for each trip.
• Support: 24/7 live chat support.

How to install a Saily eSIM

Do this at home on Wi-Fi, before you fly. It takes about five minutes.

1. Check your phone. Dial *#06# — if you see an EID number, your phone supports eSIM. It also needs to be carrier-unlocked.
2. Buy your plan. Pick your destination and data amount and pay online; your QR code arrives by email, or instantly in the app.
3. Install it. iPhone: Settings → Mobile Service → Add eSIM → scan the QR code. Android: Settings → Network / Connections → SIMs → Add eSIM → scan. The Saily plan sits alongside your normal SIM — nothing gets removed.
4. When you land, switch the Saily eSIM line on, turn Data Roaming ON for the eSIM line, and set it as your data line. The plan activates automatically on arrival.
5. Keep your home SIM switched on for calls, texts, WhatsApp and bank security codes. Only your data routes through the eSIM.

The verdict

Saily earns its place as a third provider on this site on two things: the lowest entry prices we could verify for Thailand, Turkey and Japan, and unlimited hotspot sharing as standard. It is not the cheapest per gigabyte at every size — the country specialists still win some tiers — but for a short trip, or a traveller who hotspots a lot, Saily's 1GB plans from $2.99–$3.99 and Turkey's 5GB plan at $9.99 are genuinely competitive. Buy and activate before you travel, check the final plan details on Saily, and confirm your destination is covered before you pay.
